Perfect for Valentine’s Day or anytime you want to show you care, this colorful cake dances to its own heartbeat! The “Valentine Card” cake top is made with layers of White, Pink and Red Sugar Sheets!

Instructions:

Step 1

Bake and cool one-layer cake. Place on foil-wrapped cake board. Ice smooth with light rose buttercream.

Step 2

Using Rotary Cutter, cut a 7 x 7 in. square from White Sugar Sheets! Tear edges with fingers. Attach square to center of cake using piping gel.

Step 3

Using Rotary Cutter, cut a 5 x 5 in. square from Red Sugar Sheets! Attach to center of white square using piping gel.

Step 4

Using Rotary Cutter, cut a 4 x 4 in. square from Light Pink Sugar Sheets! Attach to center of red square using piping gel.

Step 5

Using black FoodWriter and heart cookie cutter as a guide, trace shape on back side (shiny side) of Red Sugar Sheets! Using scissors, cut out heart. Attach to light pink square with piping gel.

Step 6

Using punch with Small Heart Cutting Insert, cut 30-40 hearts from Bright Pink Sugar Sheets! Attach to top of cake with piping gel.

Step 7

Using tip 6 and light rose buttercream, pipe bead bottom border.
