Cinnamon Gelato

Cinnamon Gelato is sweet frozen treat with holiday flavor and an Italian accent! Use your ice cream maker to whip up this creamy recipe anytime you want a refreshing dessert.

  • 3 1/2 cups milk divided
  • 2/3 cup granulated sugar
  • 5 egg yolks
  • 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon


Gelatin serves about 6 cups.


Step 1

In large saucepan, combine milk, sugar, egg yolks and cinnamon using wire whip.

Step 2

Cook over medium heat, stirring constantly, until mixture thickens, about 10 minutes.

Step 3

Remove from heat; pour into medium bowl.

Step 4

Refrigerate 8 hours or overnight.

Step 5

Pour into ice cream maker and follow directions for freezing.
