Makes: 1 gingerbread house.

Divide prepared decorating icing in half. Use half for decorating the house now, the other half for
adding, “snow” around house later (keep covered with a damp cloth).
Fill decorating bag with 1/2 cup icing.
Decorate seams of house and under eaves with straight lines.
Outline front door and windows and fill in with zigzags (smooth with finger dipped in cornstarch). For
window on front door, roll out yellow mini sugared gum drop on surface sprinkled with granulated
sugar; cut into 3/4 in. square and attach to door with icing. Outline door window and decorate with
icicles on bottom. Cut berry-shaped candies in half vertically and attach for awning over door. Attach
mini multi-colored candies to sides of door and for doorknob with dots of icing.
For front window, cut green leaves into smaller leaf shapes. Begin at bottom of tree and attach leaves
to create evergreen shape with dots of icing. Attach mini sugared gum drops to window sides and
berry-shaped candy cut in half vertically for awning with dots of icings. Decorate icicles on windowsill.
For side windows with candles, roll red mini sugared gum drops in granulated sugar and cut 1/2 in.
high x 1/4 in. wide. Cut small flame from yellow mini sugared gum drops. Attach candles and flames
to windows with dots of icing. Attach cut green leaf pieces for holly on windowsills, mini multi-colored
candies on window sides and berry-shaped candy cut in half vertically for awnings with dots of icing.
Decorate icicles on windowsills.
To make wreath on front of house, cut green leaves into smaller leaf shapes and attach with icing in
circular shape, building into 3-dimensional decoration. Roll red mini sugared gum drop in granulated
sugar and cut into two bow loops and roll one circle for bow center; attach to wreath with dots of icing.
Ice roof smooth. Decorate spirals on both sides of roof and add mini multi-colored candies to center of
swirls. Attach mini sugared gum drops to roof peak with dots of icing. Decorate roof peak and eaves
with icicles.
Ice snow on base fluffy. Ice walkway smooth and line with mini multi-colored candies.
NOTE: Additional candy may be required.
