Take birthday celebrations to new heights with balloons and streamers made with our colorful Sugar Sheets! So many great colors and design options.

Instructions:

Step 1

Bake and cool 2-layer cake.

Step 2

Position cake on prepared board. Ice smooth with buttercream icing.

Step 3

Use Rotary Cutter to cut 10, 6 in. long x 1/4 in. wide strips of each of the four color Sugar Sheets! Wrap strips around wooden dowel rods to create curly streamer shapes.

Step 4

Cut Bright Yellow Sugar Sheets! with Rotary Cutter, 9 in. wide x 6 in. high. Tear edges with fingers to give a jagged-edge look. Use red FoodWriter to write message. Place on center of cake with piping gel.

Step 5

Use Layered Circles Cutting Insert Set and largest circle cutter to cut three of each color Sugar Sheets! Position randomly on cake for balloons, brushing with piping gel to attach.

Step 6

Use Rotary Cutter and each color Sugar Sheets! to cut thin strings, 4 in. long x 1/8 in. wide, to add contrasting color strings on balloons. Position on cake.

Step 7

Use Sugar Sheets! Punch Base with Diamonds Border Cutter Inserts using Diamond Shape. Cut assorted Sugar Sheets! colors to create confetti look. Randomly position on cake.
