Ingredients:
- 2 cups brown sugar
- 1 cup butter or margarine melted
- 4 eggs
- 1/2 teaspoon flour
- 1/2 teaspoon baking powder
- 1 teaspoon vanilla
- 2 cups walnuts chopped
Makes: Brownies serves 9.
instructions
Preheat oven to 350°F.
In mixing bowl, combine sugar and melted butter.
Add eggs one at a time to sugar mixture, mixing between additions. Sift flour
and baking powder together. Combine with sugar mixture. Add vanilla and nuts.
Blend well.
Generously spray each Mini-Snowman cavity with non-stick vegetable
spray.
Bake 20-25 minutes, let cool 10 minutes; remove from pan.
Do not let
brownies set in pan more than 10 minutes or they will be difficult to remove.
Dust with confectioners sugar.
Pipe scarf with tip 47. Eyes and buttons with
tip 3 dots. Hat trim with tip 349 leaves and tip 2 dot berries.
Brownies may also be baked in an 8 in. square pan. Spray pan with vegetable
spray; bake 20-25 minutes. Cool before cutting.
It is easier to cut brownies
in perfect squares if pan is lined with foil before baking. Remove foil and
brownies from pan when cool. Cut with long bladed knife.
To freeze, leave in
one piece, wrap airtight. Remove, thaw and cut when ready to serve.
