Step 1

Cut, bake and cool cookie assortment.

Step 2

Tint color flow icing red, green and brown.

Step 3

Use full-strength green icing with tip 2 to outline tree; let set.

Step 4

Use thinned-down green icing with tip 2 to fill in tree; let set.

Step 5

Use tip 1 and full-strength red icing to decorate garlands on tree.

Step 6

Use tip 1 and full-strength white icing to decorate dot ornaments on tree; let set.

Step 7

Use tip 2 and full-strength brown icing to outline gingerbread boy; let set.

Step 8

Use tip 2 and thinned-down brown icing to fill in gingerbread boy; let set

Step 9

Use tip 1 and full-strength white icing to pipe dot eyes, nose, buttons and zigzags designs on wrists and ankles.

Step 10

Use tip 2 and full-strength white icing to outline and fill in bow tie and add dot for tie know.

Step 11

Use tip 2 and full-strength white icing to outline candy cane cookie; let set.

Step 12

Use tip 2 and thinned-down white icing to fill in candy cane; let set.

Step 13

Use tip 2 and full-strength red icing to decorate lines on candy cane.

Step 14

Attach lollipop sticks to backs of three sample cookies with melted candy; let set.

Step 15

Lay holiday parchment paper flat and fill with cookies in center. Gather parchment paper around cookies to form sack and tie with ribbon. Insert cookies on sticks peeking out of bag. Print message on construction paper and attach to ribbon.
