With a Wee Bit O’Luck, you’ll get a piece of this cake on St. Patrick’s Day. This friendly leprechaun is ready to share his pot of chocolate gold coins.

Instructions:

Step 1

Cut hat from cake board, cover with foil and set aside. Ice cake smooth.

Step 2

Lightly trace Leprechaun Pattern with toothpick. Outline body, facial features and pot of gold with tip 4 strings.

Step 3

Cover body, face, hands, and pot with tip 16 stars.

Step 4

Overpipe pot with tip 16 stars. Pipe tip 13 pull-out star beard.

Step 5

Position hat, outline with tip 4; cover with tip 16 stars.

Step 6

Pipe tip 3 dot eyes, tip 3 string mouth.

Step 7

Add tip 2 dots on vest and cuff.

Step 8

Add tip 18 rosette border.

Step 9

Position Shamrock Icing Decorations and candy in pot.

Note: To achieve hair and boot color, combine orange, red-red and a small amount of brown colors.
