Invite the whole family over to celebrate with a 2 For 1 Special! This cake is perfect for a first birthday party. Use the same cake for a girl or boy—just change the icing color on the party hat.

Instructions:
Step 1
Decorate boy or girl cake following same instructions.
Step 2
Cut 3 in. off top of 1-layer 9 in. round cake. Position below Party Hat cake.
Step 3
Ice cakes smooth; trace number 1 pattern with toothpick.
Step 4
Pipe tip 3 string mouth. Outline and pipe in tip 3 eyes, nose, cheeks and #1 (pat smooth with finger dipped in cornstarch).
Step 5
Add tip 3 pull-out eyelashes on girl cake and a rose or blue outline to each #1.
Step 6
Pipe tip 3 swirls on hat. Add tip 16 pull-out star pompom and hat band.
