How to Pipe Dots
Pipe dots for flower centers, faces, figure piping and border effects. When making large dots, lift the tip as you squeeze to allow icing to fill out completely.
Hold bag at a 90° angle with the tip almost touching surface. Steadily squeeze out a dot of icing, lifting the bag slightly and keeping tip in icing as it builds up into a small mound.
To end, stop pressure and pull tip away.
For balls: Follow dot instructions, building the mound larger.
To smooth icing: After piping, pat smooth using finger dipped in cornstarch.
