In advance: Prepare base board. Tint 36 oz. fondant dark Kelly Green. Prepare and cover foamcore board with rolled fondant. Tint 24 oz. fondant orange, 8 oz. light green, 4 oz. black; reserve 6 oz. white.
Bake and cool cake; position on foil-wrapped board, cut to fit. Ice cake smooth. Prepare and cover with rolled fondant; reserve excess fondant. Position cake on base board.
Roll out black fondant 1/8 in. thick. Use pattern to cut out mouth; attach using damp brush. Roll white fondant into 1 1/4, 1 3/4 and 2 in. balls. Flatten to 1/2 in. thick and attach for eyes. Roll and attach 3/4 in. and 1 in. diameter flattened pupils. Use orange fondant to roll two 3/4 x 4 in. long logs. Cover arm pattern with waxed paper. Flatten and shape logs over pattern for arms. Attach using damp brush. Roll out some light green 1/2 in. thick. Use pattern to cut two legs; reverse pattern for second leg. Attach. For stem, roll out remaining light green 1/8 in. thick. Cut a 6 x 3 1/2 in. half circle; attach to top with damp brush. Cut a wavy edge and remove excess fondant. Roll a 1 1/2 x 2 in. cone for stem base; attach. Cut a 4 1/2 x 5 in. long strip; wrap over base. Flatten top 3 in. of strip and shape into a curl; smooth out seams.
