Step 1

Mold skulls. Melt Candy Melts candy according to directions. Pour melted candy into skull mold, all at different depths, no higher than ¾ full. You will need 160 skulls. Chill 15 to 20 minutes.

Step 2

Build house. Prepare decorating bag with tip, fill with black icing from kit. Pipe a door on front of house, pat smooth with finger dipped in cornstarch.

Step 3

Decorate house. Spatula ice buttercream icing on one wall at a time. Place skulls in buttercream. Using a warmed pan, melt some skulls to a smaller size, also melt some skulls on an angle to make them fit as snug as possible. Using a warmed knife or spatula, melt a groove in the back of skull to fit over corners. Continue until the house is covered.

Step 4

Tint house. Using black Color Mist, lightly spray house.

Step 5

Finish door. Using the decorating bag with tip and black icing, pipe door outline.

Step 6

Create roof. To create the wood-slated roof, pipe stripes about ¾ inch wide, pat smooth. Using a toothpick, carve wood grain pattern on roof until completed.
