Rated 5 out of 5 by from I was making a gingerbread castle for our County Christmas Faire Gingerbread House Contest and it had to be 100% edible. So for my towers I added extra Gum-Tex to my fondant. I used PCP pipe to mold them so they were hollow. The Gum-Tex made them dry extra firm so they could stand and support the turrets on the top of each; as well as support for the sides of the castle (it was three stories with ten towers). I won second place, not bad for the first time I ever made a gingerbread house. (I used the Wilton grandma?s gingerbread cookies recipe and it was great to work with as well as tasting great too.)

Rated 5 out of 5 by from I've only used this twice to make gum paste and it's a god send. I made flowers (roses) for our last wedding cake and they were gorgeous! I had tried making ribbon for around the cake and ended up using this product instead to make gum paste. It does have a faint tan tint but we were able to whiten it with white white though not perfectly.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Love using this product in fondant. Makes it were it can be used for flowers and other designs that need to dry quickly. I really like using it when I am having to cover cakes that need detail added. you can crave the detail and not worry about the fondant because the gum tex makes it more it gum paste. i use this product for everything!!!

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Can anyone help? I have made several batches of Gum paste using Wilton Gum tex and following the recipe and on all occasions the paste when made is solid, so when left overnight, set like concrete a 4th cup of icing sugar cannot be added?

Rated 4 out of 5 by from I added this to a marshmallow fondant that I made for the purpose of making leaves for a palm tree. This made the fondant pliable and stretchy so it could be rolled thin and dried hard. Good product.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from This is a great product. I use it to make gumpaste all the time. I also use in fondant to give it a better texture for molding flowers. 1 tsp per 12 oz.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Works great too as a gum glue for gumpaste flowers. Just a small amount (1/8 tsp) to about 3 tsps water is what I use.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from I use a little of this in my fondant to help achieve very thin, workable flowers or drapings for my cakes.
