Glistening Snowflake Cupcake
The color blue makes a festive choice for winter parties and New Year?s
celebrations! The make-ahead fondant trims shimmer with Cake Sparkles.
Each cupcake serves 1.
Roll out fondant 1/8 in. thick and use second smallest cutter to cut snowflake. Cut snowflake into individual stripes and let dry on surface dusted with cornstarch; let dry.
Use tip 2 and buttercream icing to pipe lines on snowflakes and sprinkle with white cake sparkles.
Bake and cool cupcakes; ice smooth with blue buttercream icing.
Arrange flakes on cupcakes. Roll a small ball of white fondant and attach to center of flake with icing.
