Step 1

Bake cake in Petite Gingerbread Boy Treat Mold. Place treat mold on cookie pan for better stability, bake following recipe directions. Cool completely in mold on cooling grid. Remove from mold.

Melt light cocoa Candy Melts candy. Spread melted candy on back of cakes using a spatula. Chill until firm.

Step 2

Cover cakes with melted candy. Place cakes candy side down on cooling grid over parchment paper-covered cookie pan. Use a decorating bag to cover cakes with melted light cocoa candy. Tap grid lightly to spread candy evenly. Chill until firm.

Step 3

Melt white, red and green Candy Melts candy.

Step 4

Decorate facial features. Use melted white candy in a cut parchment bag to pipe dot eyes and string mouths. Chill until firm.

Step 5

Decorate details. Use melted white candy in a cut parchment bag to pipe dot buttons, body outlines and zigzag trim on arms and legs. Chill until firm.

Step 6

Decorate clothes. Use melted red candy in a cut parchment bag to pipe in scarf. Immediately cover with red sugar. Chill until firm. Shake off excess sugar.

Step 7

Decorate earmuffs. Use melted green candy in a cut parchment bag and pipe in earmuffs. Immediately cover with green sugar. Chill until firm. Shake off excess sugar.

Step 8

Decorate nonpareil buttons. Use melted candy to attach jumbo nonpareils. Chill until firm.
