Hi all,

My husband's grandmother is turning 75 this week. We aren't really doing much for it but we are going out to dinner with her and I want to make her a cake. Any ideas?
It doesn't need to be very intricate but I wanted to do something more than a standard cake. I will have to bring it in the car about an hour and a half.

Thanks.

Misty

How about a fondant cake? It wouldn't smudge or melt.

You could do some brush embroidery. I made a fondant loaf cake for a friend's birthday.

I have attached a picture. I only had 20 minutes to decorate it so please excuse the imperfections.
