Hi Cakers!

God, I hope someone can help me! Do any of you know of a tutorial that shows how to make a fondant/gumpaste Bulldog?

I have a request for a Georgia Bulldog football cake. She saw my fondant turtles that I made sometime ago, and wanted to know if I could do a bulldog. I told her I would TRY.

Suggestions??

Michael

Cute dog!

Did you just "wing" it? Did you follow a tutorial?

I "winged" it. I used to do a lot of playing with clay so fondant/gumpaste was a wonderful medium to move into...especially when working with young kids who like to eat clay. I had someone tell me that I should start off with animals in the sitting position so I just need the basic cone shape for the body. I haven't ventured beyond the cone shaped body yet.

Michael- I have a bulldog and would love to see what you come up with. Maybe I'll do a bulldog cake one day for my hubby.
