I found some pre-made fondant (that I thought was covered), it is rock hard !
Any suggestions on how to soften it up ? or can you ....
I need to make some fondant leaves.

Can you make leaves out of MMF ? and have it dry hard like fondant?

thanks !

Put in the microwave for 10 seconds and it should soften. If it's still not softened, try 5 seconds at a time after the first 10. Sometimes I add a little shortening if it is hard and dry.

Yes you can make leaves out of MMF (it is fondant, just made from marshmallows). To make it dry hard quicker add tylose powder or gumtex to it. It dries a lot faster. Hope this helps.

DIBBERS, check this thread out. I love this MMF recipe. It is so easy to work with and there's a lot of great tips and answers to questions you may have.
