Hello,

I printed off the Marshmallow fondant recipe and it calls for 1 16oz bag of marshmallows. However my store was all out of them so I bought a huge bag that is 1.36kg, so now I need to figure out how much 16oz is. Does anyone know how many cups that would equal?

Thanks.

1.36kg is the same as 3 lbs = 48oz. So for 16oz you'll need one third of the bag.

Hee hee - old habits die hard! I was a physicist and engineer in a former life before I had kids.

Please keep in mind that these charts apply to KRAFT products. There is no standard size in the marshmallow world (that I know of.) Weight is the most reliable measure.

I just wanted to thank you for posting the conversion. I've had to use it twice. The last 2 times I've made mmf, my grocery store was out of 16 oz marshmallows & I had to buy the 10oz bags. The conversion was perfect!
