I've never made a full sheet cake before (only half sheets) and I was wondering what to use for the board?
I have the half sheet boards but that won't be sturdy enough if I just tape them together. I thought maybe I could use a thin piece of wood, put the cardboard on top and then cover it with foil or should I cover it with something else?

Thanks for the help

I went to Home Depot and had a piece of plywood cut to size. I just cover it with Fanci-foil. It looks good and will take the weight of the heaviest cakes. I put my name and number on a "please return" label to make sure I get it back.

Thanks mkljdc3. I'll have to remember that about putting a return label on the board. I don't want to buy one every time I do a full sheet,
