Hi there, I'm brand new to the forum. I tried baking a regular cake (not a cheesecake) in a 6"x3" springform pan at 350 degrees for about 40 minutes and it came out overdone on the outside and runny in the middle.

Can someone please suggest a better temperature and baking time? Thanks!

Great question lol... I have no answer to this because I have also been trying to make regular cakes in the springform pans with no sucess. After 35 minutes I test for doneness by touching it every 5 minutes. It usually takes about 50 minutes for mine to cook. Athough they are not moist and fluffy like they should be they are still edible but dry.

I hope you find your answer, I would love to know too.
