I have a Wilton Deluxe Gold pan that was put into the dishwasher by mistake the finish has "clouded". I guess it oxidixed with the dishwasher detergent. How can I restore the finish? The pan bakes just fine, however, it is rather unsightly! Thanks

Unfortunately you cannot restore the pretty finish once that has happened. I did that to a pan once too and learned that hand washing is the way to go with cake pans. Dishwashers ruin the finish. :( It is good they still bake fine - I had the same result when It happened to me - Bakes just fine - looks old and tarnished. Sorry I don't have better news for you.

Cake-angel is correct. You'll never be able to restore the finish. Like she/he said it doesn't effect the baking.
