They are still drying, that's the reasons for the straws to hold the arms in place. Do you think these are good enough to go on a present cake? The sitting one is going to be pulling the ribbon tight and the standing one will be holding a pen writing on the tag. (Used the idea from the Wilton elf cake on this site) It's a free cake for my hubby's co-workers, but I don't want any bad work going out just in case I do decide to ever sell my cakes. Thanks.

I love your little elves! You'll be selling cakes before you know it with work like this! Those orders will come flocking in.

They're really cute. I wish I could pick them up and put them on my cake for Christmas Eve. LOL.

The only suggestion I would make is for the sitting elf is to put a ball at the tip of his hat too-like the other elf has. They are very cute.

Thanks MargaretFRN for making me notice that the sitting elf's hat ball fell off He now has a replacement. Here are the pictures of the finished figures ( not on the cake yet because Potluck isn't until Monday.) Standing Elf's pen is made from a milkshake straw and gumpaste. The sitting elf is not attached to the boe but I placed him there to get a quick idea of what he would look like. Thank you everyone for your comments.
