Help! I am looking for a wedding cake topper for my wedding to be held in November in Kauai, Hawaii. I am looking for a casual bride and groom, (I am wearing a Hawaiian print dress, my fiancee a Hawaain print shirt and khaki pants..very casual) All I can find are traditional toppers, or just not what I'm looking for...if anyone knows where I can find this...please let me know..thanks a million!

Jamie, Just to let you know, there is a store called LTM Party in Sarasota, Florida, 941-966-1972 that has several different tropical cake toppers. I don't kow if this company is nationwide but I know these people can order and ship to you. They have toppers that have glass palm trees with a bride and groom, dolphins in a heart and the one that I chose for our wedding. It is from Lillian Rose and I know they can be ordered all over. This one is a seashell topper that has a place to put either a votive candle or a flower such as an orchid. Very pretty. We have found candy seashells which the cake will be decorated with. Hope this helps. Hope you have a wonderful wedding!!! There just isn't anything like a beach wedding.

Regarding your request for a cake topper, I saw a response to a question on this discussion board that suggested using the top of a Pineapple for the cake topper. Then you could decorate around the topper and between the layers with Tropical flowers native to the island. It's different and definitely casual. Good luck, I hope this helps. Vanessa

Perhaps forego having a bride and groom topper? Maybe get one that has doves or something and attach silk orchids or other tropical/island flowers?

I just put a link to adorable starfish cake toppers, some are made up to be brides and grooms. Very cute.

Chocolate sea shells are great. I have some large molds to make them with. I used them for a few different weddings. Here are pictures:
