Do you guys find that the serving size guide on this site is pretty accurate? I'm making a wedding cake at the end of the month and I'm tempted to make a back up sheet cake just in case, but at the same time I hate to be wasteful.

The Wilton wedding serving chart is the industry standard. The numbers they give are what you can expect by cutting slices the sizes indicated. Of course if someone is cutting huge slices it won't be accurate, but then no chart would account for that.
