Topic: 10", 8" with 6" topper.

See what you think, first time using foam riser. It is set up on the pipe/flange too. Delivered to Cliffview Resort with no problem. The first picture is before delivery without topper, second at the venue with the Willow Tree topper.

Some different flavors 10" was pumpkin, 8" with 4 layers apple, 6" white all with caramel filling with BC icing trimmed with fondant.

Beautiful cake and those flavors all sound delish. How many layers are your cakes? They are really tall. I agree, your frosting is super smooth.

Dietcokenovice, I just happened to measure these tiers because I had to make sure to fit my pipe/flange. The bottom tier is 5 1/4 in tall, middle was 7 1/4 tall with the top 5 1/4. The riser was 2"tall. I have to credit to Salsaman, I use his method too.

One of those "simple" cakes..that's not! You did a great job getting the frosting smooth and sharp....all in all a lovely cake!

def a testimony to the pipe & flange method! I'm going to have to look into that some more. Setting up at the venue is stressful for me. Lovely cake! What is salisman's method you are referring to?
