Ok delivered this today. It is 5,8,11,&14in tier all vanilla cake with lemon and raspberry frosting. Thanks to Cami and all of the other wonderful people who helped with their answers to my stacking question. The colors are interesting for a wedding, but that is what the bride wanted. I was really worried about delivering a 4 tier cake since this is the biggest cake I have done so far but it all turned out great. I hope everyone had a wonderful weekend and I can't wait to see all of your amazing cakes.

Thank you so much everyone. I love all of your work so your coments mean a lot to me. Ginny it is a very quick technique. It took me longer than it would have taken Cami though. Total time with help from my friend was about 5 1/2 hours. I stacked them and doweled them @ home, and then had to deliver it to the venue which was only 20min away, but the last mile was a dirt road which had me nervous.

Debbie, a quick question..what size tip you used and what did you use to spread/pull the icing dot? a spatula?back of a spoon? Thank you in advance for your help:-)

I used a round coupler. It is 1/2 an inch across, and a small espresso spoon. I know that Cami said she uses the back of her spatula to pull the icing out. I think it would depend on how big you make your dots as to what to use to pull with. Try a few different items to see what you like best.

Thanks ladies for all of the comments. The bride's mother called me tonight to tell me thank you for such a beautiful and wonderful tasting cake. She said that everyone there really enjoyed it also. It was really nice to hear that they were so happy with their cake.
