Has anyone tried making tiered cake pops using foams or any kind of cake stands? I am looking for something to make it look elegant.

I use foam pieces cut in the shape that I want and insert holes for the pops to sit in. The trick when you are using more than one layer is to fasten the pieces together or the weight of the cake pops. Two ways to do this is use wooden skewers and put through all pieces of foam and then cover with fondant for one time use or cover with mac-tac if you want a reusable stand. Make your holes in the foam before hand and once covered use a pin to make a hole in the mac-tac where the real hole is. Once you stick the cake pop in it will expand the hole but give you a more polished look.
