I recently bought an inexpensive dehydrator and was wondering if anyone else had tried using one of these for speeding up the drying time of flowers -- especially large flowers such as roses and lilies.

If so, how much time did it take, and did you like the results?

I have never tried a dehydrator but I do know putting flowers in the oven with just the oven light on speeds up drying so if your dehydrator doesn't get too hot it should work.
You can bake molded sugar at 200 F so I would think that would be fine for royal icing as well. Best thing would be to try one or two flowers and see what happens.

A dehydrator does work! Just make sure you use the coolest temperature you can on it.
