Using 2 sizes of Cut-Outs? or cookie cutters, Fondant Inlays add a contrasting color shape within a larger cut shape. Try making them directly on your cake!
Using a cookie or gum paste cutter, or the end of a decorating tip, cut out shapes from a piece of rolled fondant in a different color from your fondant-covered cake.
Cut the same size shape from your cake. Remove the cut piece from your cake.
Position the different color shape. Smooth with finger dipped in cornstarch or with an Easy-Glide Smoother to blend edges.
