Create this magnificent rose - the most popular icing flower of them all. With practice, your roses will have the just-picked look of real fresh garden roses!

About half the size of a dime, Forget-Me-Nots can be grouped on cake tops or used to accent smaller treats like petits fours. They grow naturally in blue, pink and white.

A variety of leaves will help give your cakes a more realistic garden feel. Add piping gel to your icing to help keep your leaves from breaking.

Try some fun color combinations?yellow petals with yellow or blue centers, violet or blue petals with yellow centers and peach petals with orange centers. Highlight centers with Wilton Cake Sparkles? or colored sugars.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from I make this cake after completed Wilton course 2. But I add a second tier, one 6 in and the other 10 in. I separated the tiers by Wilton Greek columns. Everybody like my cake.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from The cake was easy to make. Make sure you make exrea sugar flowers just in case you break one or don't have enought. I likes the look of the flowers BUT vamped them up to make them brighter just in case it faded as it dried. Try to make your flowers the same size for the same flower. Don't have bigger pansies then your roses. This will make a real dramatic look and people will think you spent HOURS doing something that you just placed them on the cake. =o)
