Additional Information

Save yourself the trouble of torting your cakes to make a trendy tall, multilayer cake. With this set of 6 in. pans, you can make a five-layer cake with ease for a definite "wow" factor! One cake mix or a single batch of batter is enough to fill all five pans, and most ovens have the space to accommodate all five pans baking at once. Now, the choice is yours. Make an ombre cake, tinting the batter in five gradations of color, or a rainbow cake, using a different icing color to tint each layer. Bake a chocolate cake with different fillings separating the layers or mix different flavors into each layer for a taste sensation. Stack up a naked cake, one where the layering is the star because the exterior of the cake isn't iced. Or, create a classic torte filled with whipped cream, mousse or fruit. This cake pan set lets you play with your options! The pans in this innovative set are 3/4 in. thick, the perfect depth for a multilayered cake, and the non-stick pan coating means your cake will release and clean up with ease.

  • Includes five non-stick pans, 6 in. dia. x 0.75 in. high
  • Uses 1 cake mix
  • Non-stick

Easy Layers! 6 Inch Round Cake Pan Set is rated 4.5 out of 5 by 11.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from These are the cutest little pans! I used them for the first time today with a strawberry cake mix. Each pan took about 3/4 cup of batter and I baked them for 17 minutes. Cakes came out perfect! Once cooled I wrapped the cakes in plastic wrap then in foil and they are in the freezer until I need them later in the month. Another favorite Wilton product!!!!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great little pans! Be sure to level your cakes before stacking them, something I didn't do the first time, and had a difficult time icing the cake due to "overhangs" from too much batter in the pan. The second time I used them I measured 1 cup of batter into each pan and no "overhang"! Have fun! These are truly a fantastic set of pans.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Unfortunate I got this expecting that the depth would be greater, but it is the tiniest width I have ever seen. It is also rounded on the ends which would greatly affect how the cake looks when you try to stack it. Im sure the product is good itself, but make sure it is exactly what you are looking for before buying.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Fun and Pretty! Made my first rainbow cake last night and it was really beautiful. I recommend buying the Wilton cake comb set for finishing the sides. To all the people who complain about it being too small - it's the same as a two layer nine inch cake, just, tall! It comfortably served a cake-loving family of four with half a cake left over, so I'd say it makes eight slices. It's a real showstopper. Very easy to crown also.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great little pans I used these pans for the first time and loved them!! After stacking them the cake was too tall for the lid to fit on my cake plate, but the cake looked awesome after icing it, I made matching cup cakes and put around the cake on the cake plate, this made a wonderful Birthday Cake!!

Rated 3 out of 5 by from that's what I was thinking! ok, so I haven't bought these but am thinking abt it. the thing that I question though is what the one review mentioned is how they are rounded in the edges. why aren't they a true square? I would think this would make the cake mounded instead of stacked looking.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Fun! My "grown" kids thought this was the neatest idea. Pans were small but after icing and stacking, the cake was perfect when cut in small wedges.
