Step 1

1 day in advance, make cookies. Prepare cookie dough following recipe directions. Press into cookie treat pan cavities. Press treat sticks into dough, covering 2 in. of stick . Bake and cool.

Step 2

1 day in advance, outline and flow in cookies. Prepare Color Flow icing following recipe directions. Tint portions yellow and orange. Use tip 3 and yellow icing to outline cookies. Let dry 5 to 10 minutes.

Thin a portion of yellow icing. Use thinned yellow icing in cut disposable bag to flow in cookies. Let dry 24 hours. Reserve remaining full-strength yellow and orange icing.

Step 3

Decorate cookies. Use tip 3 and yellow icing to pipe outline petals. Use tip 5 and orange icing to pipe center coil following daffodil directions. Use tip 2 and orange icing to pipe zigzag on top edge of coil.
