Drop flowers are a great way to add flowers quickly. Pipe drop flowers in buttercream directly on your cake, or pipe in royal in advance and place your flowers anywhere. Flowers will be sharper in definition when piped in royal.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from A friend and I made these for a baby shower and they were a big hit. For the flowers we put a piece of wax paper on a cookie sheet and then did the flowers on there that way we could put them in the freezer to get them nice and firm. It made it easier to pick them up with the bent spatula and transport them onto the cupcake, but you have to work quickly when doing that so the icing doesn't get soft again while trying to move them. Also, instead of using the white icing for the dot in the center, we used the edible pearl beads which made it look more elegant. We also did a swirl with the icing on the cupcake instead of making it smooth. These were super fun and easy to make.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from These were so fun and easy to make (after taking classes so I knew how to make the drop flowers. I always make more than I need so I store them for future use. The hardest part was getting the icing smooth on top of the cupcake, but you can swirl it and stick the flowers on top.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from These are so simple, but so pretty. Perfect when you need to make a lot in a small amount of time. I made these for Valentines Day and all of my friends and neighbors were so wowed, but they had no idea each one only took a minute to complete.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Extremely simple flowers. The only problem I had when I tried to do this is the icing would crack. I quickly figured out that I needed to add more milk and piping gel to make it very smooth.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from These cupcakes are soooooo easy to make. Even the kids were able to help. We had a great time. But they looked like we bought them at a bakery.
