Rated 5 out of 5 by from It all depends on your Oven, I believe. I've used this Pan many times and it comes out perfect everytime. The first time I used it, it scared me because of the horror stories I've read here and I made a Smurf Village so that was 4 Smurf Houses/Cupcakes I made and they were all perfect! THANK YOU WILTON. I love love love this Pan. Tomorrow is Mom's 79th b'day so I will make her a Cupcake that looks like a Bouquet of Flowers. So excited! Yes I know it doesn't take much anymore lol PS I used a 50% Coupon from Joann's at Michael's for this Pan. They take each other's Coupons and I NEVER buy any Wilton Products W/O a Coupon. They are too expensive ;}

Rated 1 out of 5 by from I have tried using this pan several times - each time a disaster. In the past 3 three attempts the "top" always got done before the bottom so I had to try and finagle the top out, in the oven, to leave the bottom in to finish baking. Directions recommend 4 1/2 cups of batter go into the top. I had to make a batch and half of cake batter because 4 cups of batter barely fit into the pan and then there was not enough batter to put into the "bottom" half. My current attempt is now baking - the top has spilled all over the inside of oven making a big mess and neither side is baking evenly. What a mess! I am donating this pan to Goodwill and never using it again. Ugh!

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Borrowed this pan from a friend. Came to Wilton.com for insturctions since I did not have the original directions. I would be helpful to know what type of cake works best and not have to guess. Especially if you try to do the "Stacked Cupcake" idea. I did take the advice from one of the reviews of laying a piece of foil over the top part which worked great. Just need to add: oil or spray the foil first, and after the bottom half of the cake is 3/4 way done, remove foil for top to finish baking evenly with the bottom.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from I just bought the pan last night and wanted to do a trial cupcake for our Daughters 13th birthday next week. I used one box of cake mix but I know I have to use more next time, the bottom came out a little smaller but not noticeable, the top came out a little puffy but I used a bread knife to slice it off and it fit great on the bottom. I baked it at 325° for 50 minutes and it was perfect! Just so happens we will serve it tonight at my Daughters sleepover party along with mini cupcakes that I purchased. Love it!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Love this adorable pan! I have used it for many different occasions from birthday's to office celebrations. I mean, who doesn't love getting a giant cupcake!? It is perfectly shaped so you can scoop out the middle of the bottom half of the cake once it is cooked, then fill with ice cream for an ice cream cupcake surprise. I have covered the bottom half of the cake with butter-cream icing for a birthday cake, rolled fondant for a baby shower, and melted chocolate for a family party each for a unique look. A versatile a delightful pan which produces cakes guaranteed to bring a smile to the face of the recipients.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from I love this pan. It is fun to decorate as there are so many ways to do it. My niece is graduating from college in May and she wants me to make one of these for her party. I have finally discovered how to bake and get the middle done before the outside has gotten crunchy. Just bake at 325 degrees till done and you should have a nice moist cake. I do agree with a previous poster that Wilton needs to sell a cake carrier for this cake. It is too tall for the regular carrier. Overall, I love this pan and would recommend it to anyone.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Made this using Duncan Hines yellow cake mix. I read reviews before trying this to get the ratio for the top and bottom right. None of the reviews helped so I went for it. I filled the bottom part of the pan first to half way then the top part of the pan I filled to almost where the second layer of the ridge is. I had a little batter left so added it to the bottom part. It came out perfect. I wouldn't go by the directions this pan comes with as every cake batter consistency is different. Unless your making that recipe of course.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from I brought the GIANT CUPCAKE pan for my grandaughters christening. I had decided to make a GIANT CUPCAKE for the christening and then the order just got bigger and bigger and also ended up making 100 small cupcakes. Up until then I had always enjoyed baking cakes but had never really decorated them. I practiced on my work mates who were over the moon!!!! I had so many compliments and everyone was telling me that I ought to go into buisness, so I am actually at the moment looking into this. I could not have managed the overall effect of the cakes without the GIANT CUPCAKE pan. Its one of the best products that I have brought so far from wilton but I think there will be many many more. And all those ideas floating around in my head now on how to decorate them!!!!
