2-3 days in advance: Prepare fondant for trims. Add 3 teaspoons Gum-Tex to 30 oz. fondant. Tint as follows: 12 oz. green, 8 oz. gold and 8 oz. silver (use a small amount of Black); reserve 2 oz. white.
Bake and cool 1-layer cakes.
Prepare and cover with 48 oz. light green fondant. Prepare for
Push-In Pillar Construction; use 6 in. and 8 in. plates to mark positions for pillars on 8 in. and 10 in. cakes. Trim 8 hidden pillars to 5 1/2 in. high for top 2 tiers; trim 4 pillars to 3 1/2 in. high for bottom tier. At party: Assemble cakes and attach leaves and berries to cakes using thinned fondant adhesive. Insert star topper.
*Combine Kelly Green with Moss Green for green leaves. Combine Buttercup Yellow with Brown for gold ornaments.
