Rated 5 out of 5 by from I made this cake for my niece. She had a birthday party & I made the cake & cupcakes. One thing I did different, she loves my buttercream so I covered the cake w/pink vanilla buttercream. Then I cut out the letters and starts with MMF. Then I cut a round piece of pink MMF the diameter of the cake top and cut the edges with a scallop cutter. It was sooo cute. I needed to have the piece of fondant on top so that I could set the cupcakes on top. And what was so perfect, is she had 7 of her little friends over and each one was able to take their own individual cupcake home! It was fun to make and I loved it because it was so colorful. Children seem to love colorful. Also, I added vanilla cream filling to all the cupcakes for an extra suprise!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from I was on here looking for ideas for my daughters birthday and we came across this and as soon as she seen it, it was the cake for her. She thought it was made just for her afterall her name is Emma also! We love cupcakes n make them all the time but never thought of putting them on top of a cake! Very cute idea. It reminds me of Carebears!

Rated 4 out of 5 by from I made this for my niece's birthday and it turned out fantastic! It was a hit with the kid AND parents! If you have little ones at home, get them to roll the yellow balls for the border; they'll feel great helping out and the balls will be smooth!
