Rated 5 out of 5 by Beebz... from This was a hit at my friend's baby shower. There were so many people and we were afraid there wouldn't be enough cake, so we made a sheet cake for the base and put the fondant blanket on top then the bear cake. It was great because we made fondant blocks as a border for the sides of the sheet cake. This was a lot of work but so much fun :)

Rated 4 out of 5 by Poohbaby from I don't use fondant, and I needed to feed more than just the bear pan would feed. I made a 1/2 sheet cake, and used the basketweave technique to make it look like the quilt. Then I put the bear on top. It easily fed the 50 guests at the shower, and the mommy-to-be got to take some cake home. Thanks for the adorable idea, Wilton!

Rated 5 out of 5 by servina from I made one for my son's baby shower and a friend's baby shower and in each case the mommies to be cried with joy when they saw how cute the cake was. It was very easy to make. I actually made a sheet cake for the blanket and put the teddy bear on top so then it would feed more people. It was a hit!

Rated 5 out of 5 by ladylu from my very first cake and a favorite cause it is so easy to make and decorate . I just wish the lines were a little more defined as it is hard to figure out where the lines are on chocolate. I made mine with a little blue jacket and little blue booties.

Rated 5 out of 5 by PDF Catering from I made this cake for a coworkers baby shower and used a sheet cake instead of just a board for the quilted bottom. This way the cake could be two flavors without guessing which part was chocolate & which was vanilla.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Imed23 from The teddy bear cake is such a classic. Have made this for several showers and it is alway a big hit. For a big group, super easy to just tier it on a large sheet cake.

Rated 5 out of 5 by deensy from The quilt is the hardest part because you have to work so fast with the fondant. I put a pink onesie on my bear. Everyone loved it at the baby shower.
