Getting Started
You must start with a quality cookie pan or sheet in order to bake perfect cookies and treats. There are many good
baking finishes available. Wilton makes superior non-stick, aluminum and insulated aluminum pans. You can rest
assured with Wilton cookie sheets and pans, the extra-thick aluminum heats evenly for perfectly baked cookie and
treats. When making your final choice, just make sure to select a durable pan that won’t warp, rust or chip during
repeated use.
Before first and after each use, wash pan in warm soapy water; rinse and thoroughly dry with soft towel. Follow recipe
or label instructions for pan preparation. Pans can be prepared by generously greasing the inside using a pastry brush
or paper towel and solid vegetable shortening. For best results, do not use butter, margarine for liquid vegetable oil.
You also can use Bake Easy™ Non-Stick Spray or Cake Release to treat pans. Other great alternatives are parchment paper

Parchment paper treated with silicone. Both are freezer, refrigerator and microwave safe. Baking mats are oven safe
to 500°F and parchment paper is oven safe to 400°F.
