Cookie Pro Ultra II Cookie Press is rated 3.4 out of 5 by 76.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from Spritz cookies have been a favorite of mine since I was a kid. I remember always watching my mom use the old fashioned one back then, and when I was able to learn how to bake I had wanted to get my own cookie press. I had stumbled across this one at BB&B some time between 2005-2007 so I had gotten it and let me tell you. It was the best decision I have ever made. It works perfectly for me and works perfectly till this day. I don't understand why this cookie press has a lot of bad reviews. Once you get the dough to the right consistency and have the disks ready, you are ready to press! The only thing I wish is that I could get some other disks to use.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Had the traditional metal crank press and purchased this Wilton Cookie Pro Ultra II to assist with our Christmas cookie load, no such luck. Loaded it up with our butter dough and pressed out about 10 no problem, from there on nothing but problems. We had a combination problem of the disk actually popping out and in addition the plastic from it was now shredding into the dough. Beyond devastated because many of my cookies had to be thrown away and really thought I had found a piece of equipment that could get the job done. So sad. Returned to the store and will hope to find a like product that is better made.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Easy familyl fun I have had this cookie press for many years. The kids love to use it. It makes Christmas cookie baking very easy. I also had the battery operated one but hated it. The manual one is very easy to use & clean up. My only complaint is the recipes included with the kit. Never once have the cookies turned out like they appear on the box. They almost melt completely, loosing a lot of the "detail" in the shape. Tried making the wreath shape with an open middle and the whole cookie melts leaving no opening. Despite that, they taste great, and with some sprinkles, still turn out festive. But what's the deal with the recipes? Any changes to them in 6 years???

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Very disappointed with this Wilton product (TWICE) I thought I was buying a very good product with a trusted good name! Wilton's cookie MASTER PLUS cordless cookie press falls well short of my expectations. Yes, the first purchase could have been a black sheep, Wilton is (WAS) a good name so, I bought another Master Pluss PRESS. SAME RESULTS: New batteries last for only five (5) cookies and the motor is very week. I agree with KackyW - This one is not ready for prime time. This press is NOT WORTH A DIME. Wilton you have disappointed me TWICE. I would advise anyone to look elsewhere, the Master Press just can't do the job, there are design flaws.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from As a Spritz cookie novice I have experienced a learning curve, but find this press to work well. I purchased this press on the recommendation of America's Test Kitchen. It is very easy to assemble and clean. Any problems I experienced were user error and when I learned the press performed as promised. Be sure to watch the video that Wilton supplies if you are new to the craft, it is helpful. I have found the press is sturdy and the discs are well made. When used as designed there are no problems. Yes, there are plastic parts, but they are more than adequate to make cookies. Don't understand the problems that others have had because until I learned I abused this press. It took my beatings and kept working. They are fast, easy and fun for children and parents alike.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Had to run out and buy this cookie press to make 20 dozen spritz cookies for christmas after the original one that I bought made exactly 2 cookies before breaking. This one was awesome! I wish that I would have just bought this one in the first place at this year's tent sale. The only thing you need to be careful of- the first time you use one of the disks- little black plastic shavings can come off while you are pressing the cookie- but you can usually see it and remove. I love that this one is easy to use, sturdier built (than the Cookie Max), and has so many different shaped disks!

Rated 4 out of 5 by from I too am surprised at all the negative reviews. I bought the Cookie Pro Ultra II Cookie Press for the holidays and it worked beautifully! I followed the recipe included with the press and had no problems with the cookies sticking or not coming out of the press. I got consistent results every time. The cookies looked great and I was able to make so many cookies in a relatively short amount of time. I only wish I could purchase other shapes for this press. I was disappointed to find there was no wreath or snowflake in the set. I would highly recommend this product.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Don't be dumb. If you're baking 30 dozen cookies in one day, invest in an industrial-grade cookie press. For people like me, who only bake a batch every couple of months, this one is perfect. It works just like the video. About 10% of the time, you don't get a cookie when you pick up, so you just set it down and click again. I have psoriatic arthiritis (same as rheumatoid) so my hands are very weak, but I have no trouble using this cookie press. The only reason I rated this 4 stars instead of 5 is that some of the plastic parts are finished to look like metal, and that will be deceptive because there are people who will think it really is metal and that they're about to get an industrial cookie press for under $30.00.
