Cinnamon-Pecan Streusel Coffee Cake

Popular because it is easy-to-make using basic ingredients and it smells amazing as it bakes, our yummy streusel coffee cake is absolutely the best way to begin the day! We've loaded up our streusel topping with cinnamon, brown sugar, pecans and rolled oats to add a sweet crunch to contrast the rich cream cheese cake on the bottom.   1. Preheat oven to 350°F. Prepare 9 in. round baking pan with vegetable pan spray.
  2. For the topping: In a medium bowl, combine oats, flour, light brown sugar, pecans, cinnamon, and salt.
  3. Using a pastry blender, cut in butter until well-blended.
  4. For the cake: In small bowl, combine flour, baking powder, salt and baking soda.
  5. In large bowl, beat cream cheese, butter and sugar with an electric mixer until creamy. Add egg, egg yolk, milk and vanilla; beat until smooth. Add flour mixture to cream cheese mixture; beat at low speed just until combined (batter will be thick).
  6. Spread mixture in prepared pan and sprinkle with topping.
  7. Bake for 35-40 minutes or until toothpick inserted in the center of the cake comes out clean.
  8. Sprinkle with confectioners' sugar, if using. Serve warm.
