Bake-Even Cake Strips

There's no need to level cake tops with Bake-Even Cake Strips. Bake cakes without cracked tops or crusty edges for easier icing and decorating.

These easy-to-use strips equalize the baking process by controlling the heat distribution in the pan. The result - moist, level cakes every time without cracked tops or crusty edges, and a smooth crust that makes icing and decorating easier.

Silver silicone coated - 100% cotton fabric.

Each band is 1" wide x 30" long with 1" overlap. Small set contains 2 bands, enough for two 8" or 9" round pans. Large set contains 4 bands, enough for one of each of the following: 10", 12", 14" and 16" round pans.

To Use:

1. Saturate Bake-Even Cake Strips in cold water, then run finger down surfaces to squeeze out excess moisture (do not wring).

2. Bring pans to edge of counter or table. With aluminized side out, wrap strip around outside of pan, close to the bottom. Overlap ends and use straight pins to hold strip in place.*

3. Pour cake batter into prepared pans.

4. Bake as directed.

5. Remove strip, fold and store. Use again and again for perfectly even, level cakes.

* For larger diameter pans, just pin two strips together - overlapping does not interfere with baking efficiency.
