Rated 5 out of 5 by from Cake Release is one of my top 5 favorite Wilton products and I highly recommend it. Not only do I use Cake Release while baking sweets, I also use it for baking side dishes or meals in the oven. After I bake macaroni and cheese it's an easy clean up since I coat the pan with Cake Release rather then using other greasing products that are sold in your local grocery store. In addition to Cake Release being easy to use and making cleaning out the pan easier it does not leave that sticky residue on my pans that other brands products do. What are you waiting for? Rated 5 out of 5 by from I was nervous to buy this product b/c of some bad reviews, but I am completely happy that I did. I used spray and flour on my old pans, but they were sticking so badly that the cake would crumble before it came out. I bought this last night and used it immeditately when I got home and we were amazed by the results! the container says to use a small amount but to completely cover all corners, ridges and sides and to gently turn it over with the cooling rack on top. so i followed the directions exactly and my cake turned out perfect! I wish we had found this a long time ago, I LOVE IT!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from I love this stuff! I can't use an aerosol spray so I tried this stuff, and I love it! The aerosol makes me have breathing problems, so when I tried the Cake Release, I love it. It is good for all types of baking and all types of pans. I insist that my girls use it when they bake, because of the mess that they make with shortening and flour. I hate it when we run out!!! It is great for shaped pans that have indentions, I use it with the Wilton silicone brush to get it spread out, works great everytime. You do shake well!

Rated 2 out of 5 by from I had no trouble using the product and I got the desired results. I know there are products on the market like Pam no stick spray but they produce overspray, they're expensive, and if you aren't careful you will get excess grease in the pan which can cause uneven cake sides. I have found a homemade product to be much more cost effective and produces great results every time. Add 1 cup crisco, 1 cup of flour, and 1/2 cup canola or vegetable oil to mixer. Cream together until light and fluffy. Put it in a container with a lid and keep it on the counter indefinately. Use a pastry brush to apply to your pan. I use it for everything from cornbread for the family to elaborate wedding cakes for customers. If the oil begins to separate, just whip it up again and it's ready to go. The last batch I made cost less than $1.50 to make and it will grease at least 30 + pans. I've never counted but it will make a good 1 1/2 pint sized container.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from My only problem with Wilton's Cake Release is that it only comes in the one size. :( I could totally use this in a gallon size container. This has to be the best product EVER for prepping pans. I've tried spray and I've tried the shortening and flour methods. The spray has a tendency to cause bubbles in the cake, and the shortening and flour is messy and leaves flour on the bottom of the cake. YUCK. This makes my cakes a lovely even color and they pop right out with no fuss!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from How in the world can any baker live without "cake release"? I always struggled with getting cakes out of bunt ban. For some reason I would always miss one tiny spot and my cake would stick. UGH! With Cake Release, I KNOW my cakes will come out everytime!! AND cleanup is easy-breazy!! I use this for ALL my baking needs, as well as other baking where easy release and clean up are required. I love this product. Wish it came in larger bottles (hint, hint) ;o)

Rated 5 out of 5 by from I love this product! I recently ran out and went back to my tried and true flour and grease. I could not believe how hard it was to get the cake out of the pan! I use to think that was the easy way, until I discovered Cake Release. Anybody who says that it doesn't work, needs to apply a little bit more to the pan, using a pastry brush to spread it out evenly. Make sure you let your cakes cool for 10 minutes (only 10 minutes!) and they will fall out of the pan!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Cake Release is a "must have" in your kitchen. It's amazing! I bake all the time and since I've found it, there isn't anything that can replace it. If you haven't tried it you're missing out. I've never had a cake stick since I've used Cake Release. I used to do the traditional method of greasing and flouring the pan. That took up too much time and I didnt like the flour residue it left around the edge of my cakes, especially my chocolate cakes. So then I tried the non-stick spray option. My cakes didn't stick most of the time but they seemed to pull away from the edges of the pans more that normal. It made them look like they shrunk. So then I heard about Cake Release and I tried it. It worked perfectly! No sticking and very little pulling away from the edges of the pans. I found my new "must have" in the kitchen. Thanks Wilton!
