Step 1

Make mini cakes. Prepare batter following recipe directions. Bake and cool mini cakes.

Step 2

Decorate mini cakes. Prepare buttercream icing following recipe directions. Tint a portion of icing blue. Use spatula and white icing to ice cakes smooth. Use tip 5, a cut disposable decorating bag and white icing to pipe mounds for cheeks, tail and feet and pull-out dots for tail fur. Use tip 2, a cut disposable decorating bag and blue icing to pipe dot foot pads, eyes and nose. Pipe outline whiskers and inside ears. Use tip 5 and white icing to attach bow tie icing decoration.
