Ideas With This Product

Bite-Size Brownie Squares Silicone Mold is rated 4.2 out of 5 by 35.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from This product performed well for me. The brownies baked evenly according to the cooking time (28 minutes) for the recipe. I sprayed the mold with Pam before filling. The brownies released from the mold with no problems. The mold cleaned up easily. I was reluctant to buy this product based on the poor on-line reviews posted on this website. I am glad I ignored them and tried this product for myself. I must admit; it took a little skill in filling the pan; though I mastered it by the time i reached the third cavity. Like momsavedbygrace, I love these molds!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from I love this pan, just wish I had gotten it sooner! The first time I used it I didn't spray with enough cooking oil so the brownies stuck to the pan. The next time, I spayed a heavier coat on the pan and the brownies popped out perfectly. To fill, I put the batter in a zip-lock bag, clipped the corner, and squeezed it into each square. Made for a much easier clean-up! I used a boxed mix and baked them for about 18 minutes at 350. I didn't wait until they were completely cool but, with a little tap on the bottom of the pan, I was able to pop them out as soon as the brownies were pulling away from the sides. When I fixed these for my bunko group I decorated the brownies with dots of white icing to look like dice. Very cute!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from The point is not that it is easier than cutting a pan of brownies (it isn't) but so that each bite has some of that crunchy edge that I think is the best part. Spraying the pan is important. I didn't respray for the second batch and not all came out clean. (I figure I can eat the mistakes.) I used Duncan Hines standard mix with 2 eggs for fudgier brownies. At 350 took about 20 minutes. To fill, I used a 4-cup measuring cup with a pointy spout and stopped the flow with a silicone spatula when each cavity was about 3/4 full. Made enough for 48 bites. Suggest putting the silicone mold on a small cookie sheet for better stability on the oven rack. After baking, I cover with one of those thin flexible plastic cutting mats and flip the tray over to pop out the brownies. That mat can then sort of funnel the brownies when cool into a container.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from **This is supposed to be 5 stars, but it doesnt let me select 5 stars on my device Perfect size, pops right out. I even tried this with chocolate cake and the squares came out perfect for the portion where i sprayed bakers joy. It didnt do that for the unsprayed portion. I was impressed after that test because chocolate cake is lighter and tends to get ruined easily, but they were perfect. For the unsprayed portion it was hard to clean up the bits, which i expected.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from I just ordered this pan after reading some of the positive reviews. I am very much pleased with it. Needed it to use for a very special occasion as I wanted the brownie bites to be uniform shapes. This pan rocked! I liberally sprayed the squares with baking spray and baked for 20-22 minutes, let set only a couple minutes out of oven turned over a cooling rack and bumped each square with my hand....every single one released as I peeled pan back. Made 96 mini brownies, no casualties!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from It DOES work with fudge!! We make ours with nuts & it is SO HARD to cut, can't get squares small enough & never looks very special...Thought we'd try this. Works very well! It's a bit tricky getting it into each individual square since so thick but with a small amount of effort, you can easily press it into each. Sets up quickly. Didn't want to add spray oil. They don't want to pop right out, when turned upside down BUT you can easily push on each square & out they come - perfect size & look so nice! I'm getting two more to handle whole recipe!

Rated 1 out of 5 by from It is a nice idea, but I found it to be very inconvenient to use. Filling each cavity 1 heaping teaspoon at a time was a big time waster. It only bakes 1/2 of a full batch at one time. Instead of the brownies taking 28 minutes to bake all at once, it took almost 1 1/2 hours --including cooling time. (could only bake 24 at a time, the box mix made 52 brownies) -It would have been easier to bake them in one pan and cut each one individually. I hope I will be able to find another project I can use it for.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from I love this brownie mold! Makes just the right size brownie. I baked them at the same temperature as my regular recipe, but took about 3 minutes less to bake. I inverted the mold on to a cookie sheet. The brownies popped right out with a tap on the back (sprayed with cooking spray before filling). I will buy another one, as the time between refilling the pan was wasted. However, if you want perfectly square bite-size brownies, this is the one!
