Wilton Treat Pops become a delightful Easter basket, filled with colorful cake and jelly beans! The fondant handle pulls it all together. It?s easy to make using the Macramé Fondant and Gum Paste Mold.
1 day in advance, make rope handles. Knead in 1/4 teaspoon Gum-Tex to 6 oz. rolled fondant to make 12 treats. Tint yellow.
Use macramé mold and yellow fondant to make one rope for each treat. Shape into a curve, 1 3/4 in. wide x 3 in. high. Let dry overnight on cornstarch-dusted cake board.
1 day in advance, make cake circles. Prepare batter following recipe directions. Tint batter yellow. Bake and cool 1-layer cake, 1 in. high. Use cake leveler to level cake to 1/2 in. high.
Use smallest round cutter from 101 cookie cutters set to cut three cake circles for each treat.
Tint yellow. Place one cake round in bottom of treat pop container. Use tip 12 and yellow icing to cover cake round. Continue with two more layers of cake and icing.
Melt yellow Candy Melts candy according to package directions. Position rope handle in treat pop. Use melted yellow candy to secure ends. Chill until firm, 3 to 5 minutes. Fill treat pop with jellybeans.
