I am Valerie from Thornton, Colorado I am just so please and very greatful to Wilton and everyone that picked my story as one of the winners. This is a very great honor, and I greatly appreciate it all.

My children are tickled that we won with their story and are all egar to use the new items. I have never won anything before and can not express my gratitude to this great honor, the price was simply wonderful and the best and more then I could have possibly ever wished for. I will cherish this also as a great memory.

These stories were very uplifting and encourages others to have cookie swaps or make cookies for others who are unable to do so. There are so many elderly, sick, homeless and children who would feel so special to receive Christmas cookies. I think in the rush of working, going to school, raising children, assisting elderly parents it is easy to lose sight of doing something. I know I will do something this Christmas. It will definitely give you something to look forward to doing next Christmas and to encourage others to do in some way. It will definitely make you feel much better to do something for others. I am so thankful that I read all of the stories. Each of you are so special and definitely winners!

I am thrilled that Sandy Whittley won. She is the cookie queen of west Texas! I have been part of this cookie swap for 23 years. Meeting Sandy, becoming her friend and taking part in many activities with her has been a highlight of my life.
