In November, a student from Austria attended our 1-day class in Fondant for the Holidays. We looked at her and said, â€śAustria?!â€ť We have never had a student from Austria â€“ she made the 96th country that has attended the school. We are always excited about newcomers and former students alike. Previous students think of us as continuing their education and furthering their cake decorating skills. Of course, anyone traveling from abroad and afar is curious about what we have to offer.
The Master Course remains our most popular. The Master Course builds a solid foundation to either â€śNEWâ€ť cake decorators or those who want to perfect their skills. We offer at least 13 Master Classes a year, including a 4 consecutive weekend and bilingual class too.
Keeping up with todayâ€™s trends, you will find an Advanced Sugar Artistry Class that will take you over the top teaching you artistic balance in a contemporary fashion, utilizing spun, piped and blown sugar. Then adding what you have learned in sugar to a 2-tier fondant cake, making you top decorator in your league.
Anyone who has taken a class from Laurie Bradach will understand why her NEW Showpiece Class will be more than phenomenal! You will be learning advanced blowing techniques to create birds, fish and fruit. And who knows, with Laurieâ€™s attitude of â€śthink freely and creatively,â€ť there may be more.
A favorite on our staff is Colette Peters with her NEW class, Sculpt A Cake. Her topsy, turvy look will delight your family and friends with this delightful teapot design.
