A new year is a great time to learn something new – how about cake decorating? Wilton Method courses are fun, easy to follow and SO useful! You’ll be amazed at how much you’ll use even the most basic cake decorating techniques. Whether you want to make a cake for a child’s birthday, create fancy hors d’oeuvres, or have ambitions towards wedding cakes and more, you can learn it in a Wilton Method course. Bring a friend and share the fun, you won’t regret it.
When I first learned to decorate 15 years ago, I had no idea my Western Boot cake iced in Terra Cotta buttercream would be the start of a family tradition. Now, Auntie Shawn’s cakes are famous (at least in my family!), and I love being able to make our celebrations extra special. And all it took was a few lessons from a fabulous Wilton Method Instructor – thanks Sandy!!

Shawn is a Senior Class Marketing Manager for the Wilton Educational Marketing Department. She joined Wilton 15 years ago as a Product Development Coordinator, and learning how to decorate the Wilton Way was the best part of her training! In addition to working with customers in North America, Shawn also works with the International Sales team to expand Wilton Method classes around the world. Celebrations provide a common thread between cultures, and she is amazed and inspired by the excitement people have for Wilton products and programs, no matter where they live. Shawn loves cooking, baking and decorating, especially when she can share her creations with others.
