Treat Dad to a Homemade Chocolate Cake

If my dad was stranded on a deserted island and he had the choice of a nice piece of chocolate or a phone to call for help, I’m almost certain he’d choose chocolate to snack on while patiently waiting for someone to rescue him. Now that may be a little extreme, but he does love his chocolate! Since I love to spoil any family member on their special day, I knew I had to plan an all-out chocolatey surprise for Father’s Day. Turn ordinary cookies into something special with just a few extra steps! I volunteered to make basketball cookies as my contribution to a March Madness Potluck Lunch.
