Birthday Party Sampler

November 10th, 2009 by Giulia Taraszkiewicz

Celebrations are part of Wilton’s company culture. This is why we go over the top when it’s a colleague’s birthday. It is so much fun, it is inspirational, it brings everyone together, and of course… there is always the cake! Here are a few recent office birthday celebrations; I hope they will inspire you to throw a fun birthday party for your family members, friends, and colleagues.

BIRTHDAY CELEBRATION FOR THE FREQUENT TRAVELER
Frequent TravelerThis theme was created by our International Sales Team. Their Director is always traveling, and we never know where in the world he is going to be next…. This is how “Where’s Jeff?” was born… the cake is decorated with his favorite color combination.

BIRTHDAY CELEBRATION FOR THE BUMBLE BEE AND CHEESE LOVER
(kind of unusual, but it could happen!)
Bumble Bee and CheeseYes, Debbie loves Bumbles Bees and is incredibly partial to cheese (who isn’t?). So, the theme was doubled….and the cake of course was a cheesecake! Yellow was the dominant color on the cake; use 2 tones of yellow to create more texture.

BIRTHDAY CELEBRATION FOR GINGERBREAD LOVERS
(With savory twist!)
Gingerbread BirthdayThis theme was created for our Senior Product Manager for Gingerbread. All the food and decorations were related to gingerbread, but because it was summer and thought it would be ironic, most food was savory, not sweet. The Dimensions® Giant Cupcake Pan was creatively used to bake pretzel dough, and then covered in …. You guessed it: CHEESE!

BIRTHDAY CELEBRATION FOR THE SUPER WOMAN
Super Woman BirthdayYecenia is our super designer for the Party Products Team. Her desk was decorated with super women images modified with a picture of her face. Cakes and cupcakes were decorated using SpiderMan icing decorations and colors.

Keywords to your success are: fun, colorful, sweet! I welcome stories about your great birthday party theme… I might just use it as inspiration for the next one we’ll organize!
